Party Like It's 1998!

I wanted to forward the e-mail I recieved from 'Tangled Skein' today. Sounds like fun!

Our Friday the Thirteenth events have been wildly popular, and we’re often asked when the next one will take place. Unfortunately, the next time Friday falls on the thirteenth of the month is June 2008, and that’s just too long to wait.So we’re going to be doing a little . . . rearrangement of the calendar. On Friday, Nov. 9, we’re going to declare that the year is 1998, the last time there was a Friday the Thirteenth in November. Just think: Bill Clinton is president, the Backstreet Boys are wildly popular, Saving Private Ryan is the top-grossing film. What a year! There will be the usual Friday the Thirteenth features: great refreshments, an evening-long sit-and-knit, and, from 9 p.m. to midnight, a pre-holiday sale. Everything in the shop except classes and gift certificates will be 20 percent off.Join us this Friday, Nov. 9, when we go back to the twentieth century and party like it’s 1998.

Enjoy the party!
